Jeep Wrangler

This Jeep Wrangler 2 bike rack works around serious modification: 37 inch tyres, with the spare hanging off a Teraflex carrier at the rear. iSi configured an Extreme Duty 4x4x2 on a 600mm beam with a PBC-L pivot base, mounted through the Wrangler’s receiver, and the whole system clears the oversize spare completely.

The 600mm beam provides the standoff a 37 inch spare demands, while the low profile pivot base keeps the two cradles at the right height behind the lifted Jeep. The carrier has since worked trips through Sedona and Sequoia National Park, pivoting up with both bikes loaded whenever the tailgate and Teraflex swing needed to open. Capacity and fit

Each cradle carries up to 32kg with room for a 1600mm wheelbase and tyres to 5.1 inches, so trail bikes ride securely no matter how rough the approach road. The Two Bike Rack Assembly, with a 64kg capacity.
