Toyota Tacoma TRD

This Toyota Tacoma TRD bike rack is the second Tacoma to appear among iSi’s adventurers, this one running an Extreme Duty 4x4x2 with a PBC-L pivot base, manufactured in Victoria and shipped to the USA. The low profile base matches the carrier height to the TRD’s stance, and the whole system bolts to the receiver without touching the truck.

Two cradles ride low behind the tailgate, holding the bikes by their wheels with nothing pressed against the frames. The pivot base lets the loaded carrier fold away from the truck so the tailgate can drop with both bikes still on, which matters when the tray is carrying camp gear and the bikes are the last thing off. Capacity and fit

Each cradle carries up to 32kg with room for a 1600mm wheelbase and tyres to 5.1 inches, so American trail and desert bikes fit without adjustment. The Two Bike Rack Assembly, with 64kg of total capacity.

iSi has manufactured and exported these systems from Mitcham, Victoria since 2007, in Australian mild steel and stainless steel with a zinc primed, textured Dulux powder coat finish, and a lifetime warranty wherever they land. The pre-configured vehicle carriers are the starting point, and the sales team matches pivot bases to every tow bar height.
