Loading bikes is easy and convenient when you load them one wheel at a time. This method eliminates the need to lift the entire bike at once, making it much easier to manoeuvre and position.

There’s no need for ramps or any kind of loading device. Simply wheel the bike up one wheel at a time.

The wheel cradles secure each wheel at four contact points, allowing you to share the weight of the bike with the carrier when loading and unloading.

This example below shows the loading technique on a two bicycle carrier system mounted to an MDC trailer with a tall tool box. The bicycles being loaded are an MTB (13kg) and E-Bike (24kg).

Yes, the pivoting feature comes standard on all vehicle, caravan and camper trailer mounting systems.

Vehicle Pivot: Pivot all the way down to provide maximum rear access into the back of the vehicle. Being able to lower the carrier all the way has an added advantage for vehicles with a side hinged door, slide out drawers and fridges.

Caravan and Camper Trailer Pivot: The drawbar mounting systems feature multiple pin hole positions that act as rotation stops, allowing the bicycle carrier to be held in position at varying angles. This allows for easy access to drawbar equipment and tool boxes while remaining attached with bikes loaded.

We do not recommend using a bike cover. While it might seem like a good idea to protect your bicycle from the elements, using a bike cover can actually cause more harm than good. Using a bike cover can cause wind buffeting which creates additional load and vibration that can cause damage to both the bicycle and the bicycle carrier.

We recommend using a high-quality security cable and combination or padlock. Loop the cable through the bicycle frames, the carrier main beam or pivot base, then secured to the vehicle tow bar or caravan chassis. This locks the bikes to the carrier and the carrier to the vehicle or caravan. The locking device should not be used during travel to avoid potential damage.

Because of the modular design of our carriers, we can mix and match components to suit just about every application on the market.

We offer a buy back policy where for a small charge we take back used components and supply new components of the correct configuration. For example, if in the future you purchase a vehicle where the above configuration is not perfect, then swap the relevant parts over. Refer to our buyback and exchange policy.
