iSi has manufactured drawbar bike racks in Mitcham, Victoria since 2007. The same Jayco bike rack bolts to every Jayco drawbar, Swan to Silverline, Expanda to All-Terrain, with no welding and no drilling, and every fold-out bed, toolbox and gas bottle cover still works with the bikes on. It is the same modular platform as our caravan bike racks, loaded with Jayco drawbar data in the Jayco bike rack configurator so you never measure a thing.

03Engineered for Jayco drawbars
Why the iSi Jayco bike rack works where universal racks do not.
Jayco drawbars are short, busy and shared with a fold-out bed. Every part of the iSi system is shaped around that. Nothing here is styling. It is the physics of carrying up to 84kg of bikes on a camper drawbar without upsetting the van.
Pivot up with the bikes on
Pull a pin, pivot the loaded rack up and forward from the nose of the carrier, and fold out the front bed of your Swan or Expanda. Five integrated rotation stops hold the rack anywhere from vertical to fully rotated, tool free, and in most cases the van stays hitched to the car while you do it.

Four bikes on a standard drawbar
Stadium-style stagger sets each bike at a different height so cranks and hubs never clash and bikes load side by side without shuffling left and right. The load is the most compact on the market, which is why iSi is the only four bike rack that suits a standard length Jayco drawbar with full trailer articulation into tight camp sites.

Stone guards, toolboxes, gas bottle covers, jockey wheels, fold-out beds and weight distribution hitches. The drawbar mount and StrongArm Support Post are configured to your model's geometry so the rack sits tight to the van and clear of the tow vehicle's rear corners in reverse.

A loaded Jayco bike rack changes how the van tows, so where the mass sits matters more than what it weighs. iSi positions the rack low and as far back from the tow ball as the drawbar allows, so roughly 70% of the load goes to the tow ball and 30% through the axle, with the centre of mass close to the trailer roll centre.
The system is rigid, so the load stays in phase with the van and modern electronic stability control does what it was designed to do. Bolt-on drawbar mount
Adjustable H-Mount, Fixed H-Mount or Jayco Cross Mount, selected in the configurator for your drawbar. Light-gauge, high-strength Australian steel with a wide footprint across both chassis rails. All U-bolts and hardware included.

StrongArm Support Post
More than 60 height and angle variations. Carries the bike load down into the chassis so the Jayco drawbar arms stay unstressed on corrugations, with integrated pivot stops and millimetre-perfect carrier alignment.

Main beam, two or four bike
The structural backbone. Stadium stagger for a compact, narrow load. Universal, so it bolts to the drawbar mount or pins to a vehicle mount system in under a minute with no tools.

Quad contact wheel cradles
Mandrel-bent hoops hold each tyre at four points on the tread, never the sidewall. No tie-downs, no bungees. Independent height adjustment at every wheel, from kids bikes to fat bikes and 32kg e-bikes.

Zero-load frame support cradles
Solid steel rod with a proprietary high-UV rubber profile. Carbon safe. Holds the bike upright and stabilised without carrying load, and kills the high-frequency vibration of corrugated outback tracks.

Which Jayco models does the iSi Jayco bike rack suit?
Every Jayco with an A-frame drawbar. Swan, Eagle, Penguin, Lark, Wren, Hawk, Dove, Flamingo and Swift camper trailers. Expanda, Starcraft, Discovery, Journey, Silverline, All-Terrain, Adventurer and Heritage caravans and pop tops. CrossTrak hybrids, J-Pod campers and the Basestation and Crosstrail toy haulers. Do I need the Outback extended drawbar to carry four bikes?
No. The iSi Jayco bike rack is the only four bike rack that suits a standard length Jayco drawbar while keeping full trailer articulation. The stadium stagger sets each bike at a different height so cranks and hubs never clash, which keeps the whole load compact and close to the van. Outback and extended drawbars give extra clearance but are not required.
Can I still fold out the bed on my Swan or Expanda with the bikes loaded?
Yes. Pull the pin and pivot the loaded rack up and forward from the nose of the carrier. It takes about 15 seconds and no tools. Five integrated rotation stops hold the rack anywhere from vertical to fully rotated, so the front bed, the drawbar toolbox and the gas bottles are all reachable with every bike still cradled.
Is it a true bolt-on? Will it affect my Jayco chassis warranty?
It is a true bolt-on. No welding, no drilling. The iSi Drawbar Mount System bolts to the Jayco A-frame with all U-bolts and hardware included, and installation at home needs 18mm and 19mm spanners. Your Jayco chassis warranty stays intact.
Will it clear my stone guard, toolbox, gas bottle cover and jockey wheel?
Yes. The drawbar mount and StrongArm Support Post combination is configured to your model's drawbar geometry, so the rack sits tight to the van and clear of Jayco drawbar accessories. Stone guards, toolboxes, gas bottle covers, jockey wheels, fold-out beds and weight distribution hitches all keep working with the rack installed.
How does an iSi Jayco bike rack affect tow ball weight?
iSi positions the loaded rack low and as far back from the tow ball as the drawbar allows, so roughly 70% of the load goes to the tow ball and 30% through the axle, with the centre of mass close to the trailer roll centre. Owners replacing vertical racks have measured savings of 19kg and 40kg on the ball. The system is rigid, so the load stays in phase with the van and stability control works as designed.
Can I carry e-bikes on my Jayco?
Yes. Every cradle is rated to 32kg per bike, which covers almost every e-bike on the market. The two bike rack carries up to 64kg and the four bike rack up to 84kg. Wheel cradles adjust independently and take everything from kids bikes to fat tyres.
Can the same rack move to my tow vehicle?
Yes. Add the vehicle mount system ($390) and the same rack pins off the Jayco drawbar and onto the tow bar in under a minute, no tools. Base camp with the van and take the bikes exploring on the 4WD. When the rack is on the vehicle, the Lightboard System ($349) keeps your lights and plate legal.
