Protection For Every Frame
Your carbon frame cost more than most bike racks. It deserves better than a generic rubber block. The iSi Carbon Care Frame Support Cradle pairs a solid steel rod skeleton with a proprietary in-house rubber compound designed to absorb vibration and protect the most delicate frames on the planet.
Rubber Technology Like No Other
We weren't happy with anything commercially available, so we made our own. Every iSi Frame Cradle is wrapped in a proprietary rubber profile that took years to refine.
A Flat Contact Patch You Won't Find Anywhere Else
We rejected every commercially available rubber on the market. They failed on UV resistance. They failed on isolation. They failed on surface performance. So we developed our own compound from scratch, extruded with a flat contact profile that maximises surface area against the frame tube.
The result is the only rubber profile available anywhere offering a true flat contact patch. Wide, soft, ultra-flexible and incredibly tough. Gentle enough for a naked carbon race frame, durable enough for thousands of kilometres of Australian corrugations.
Manufactured For The Worst Roads
Every design decision is focused on one thing: protecting your frame at highway speed over the roughest terrain Australia can throw at you.
Corrugation-Proof Stability
Crafted from solid steel rod to dampen high-frequency vibrations right at the frame contact point. Crucial when driving at speed over corrugated terrain where generic plastic cradles transmit every hit straight into your top tube.
Zero Rub, Maximum Protection
The proprietary rubber layer activates under vibration, subtly adhering to the frame to prevent rubbing and absorb movement internally. Exceptional protection for carbon, titanium and thin-wall alloy frames, even under extreme conditions.
UV Resistant Compound
Australian sun destroys cheap rubber in months. Our compound is engineered to resist UV degradation, heat cycling and the harsh conditions of outback touring. It stays soft, flexible and effective season after season.
Solid Steel Skeleton
Mandrel-bent from solid Australian steel rod rather than hollow tube or pressed sheet. The mass itself acts as a vibration sink, absorbing energy before it reaches the rubber contact point.
Type A Or Type B?
Frame Support Cradles come in two mirrored configurations. The nut is welded to the opposite side on each type, which fixes the Tee-Handle to either the left or the right. Buying a pair? Grab one of each to make up a full right-handed or left-handed setup. It won't affect how the carrier performs, just how naturally it operates for you.
Tee-Handle On The Right
The nut is welded on the left side, fixing the Tee-Handle to the right. Pair with a Type B to build a full right-handed setup, or buy solo to match your existing cradles. Zero impact on carrier performance, pure ease of use.
Tee-Handle On The Left
The mirror of Type A. The nut is welded on the right side, fixing the Tee-Handle to the left. Pair with a Type A to build a full left-handed setup. Same rubber, same steel, same lifetime warranty.
