Exchange Service Policy
If you have purchased a new vehicle, caravan or camper trailer and need different iSi components, we have you covered.
As your needs evolve, iSi offers an Exchange Service. We will take back your used components and supply the correct configuration for your new application, along with a rebate on the items you return.
Who this applies to
The Exchange Service is available to the original purchaser of the system. Your original order holds the configuration record we work from, which is what makes a clean exchange possible. We verify each request against that record before issuing a quotation, so please have your order number or approximate purchase date ready.
How it works

Send your exchange request
Complete the exchange request form below. It captures everything our sales team needs to quote in one pass, which avoids the back and forth.

Receive your quotation
Our sales team will confirm your original order and send an itemised quotation within 72 hours, covering:
- The components being exchanged
- Your estimated rebate
- Any applicable freight charges

Payment and dispatch
Once payment is confirmed:
- Your order is dispatched based on standard processing times
- Your replacement components are sent to you

Return the old components
After your new components arrive:
- Return the old components to iSi using one of the options below
- We inspect them on arrival and confirm your final rebate
- Your rebate is paid to your nominated account within 10 business days of that inspection
Returns, rebates and exclusions
Return in person
You can drop your used components at our facility:
Factory 17, 8-10 Monomeeth Drive, Mitcham VIC 3132
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm AEST. Please allow up to 10 business days from the date we receive your components for the rebate to be processed.
Return via courier or Australia Post
Once your new components arrive, you can either use your own courier service, or request a return label from us.
Return freight is at your cost. If you would prefer us to supply an Australia Post return label, we can include one in your shipment and deduct the cost from your rebate. The amount is shown on your quotation before you pay.
If you request a return label:
- The return label is included in your shipment.
- Repack the used components in the same box.
- Use padding such as bubble wrap or paper to protect the items.
- Affix the Australia Post return label.
- Drop the parcel at any Australia Post office.
Email dispatch@isi-carriers.com to let us know the return is on its way. Components damaged in transit through inadequate packaging may affect your rebate, so please pack them well.
Rebate offer
- Used iSi certified items. Eligible for up to a 50% rebate.
- Unused replacement components. Eligible for up to a 20% rebate.
Your quotation shows an estimated rebate based on the photographs and details you provide. The final rebate is confirmed once we inspect the returned components, and is assessed on their condition, completeness and age. We will contact you before adjusting an estimate.
All items we supply, whether certified used or new, carry our lifetime warranty.
Exclusions
The following are not eligible for a rebate:
- Items damaged by misuse, neglect or unauthorised alterations.
- Components that have been cut, drilled, welded or otherwise modified, including components requiring modification during installation.
- Incomplete assemblies, or assemblies returned with non iSi parts substituted in.
- Items with structural corrosion, as distinct from normal surface wear.
Rebates apply only as part of an exchange. Components cannot be returned to iSi for a cash payment or store credit outside of an exchange order.
Eligibility and condition are assessed by iSi on receipt of the returned components.
Exchange request
The more detail you give us here, the faster your quotation comes back. Photographs of both the current system and the trailer or vehicle you are moving to are required, because they are what our sales team quotes from.

Second Hand Purchasers
The Exchange Service applies to the original purchaser only
Every iSi system is configured to one individual application. The drawbar profile, the vehicle carrier and the wheel size options are all selected for that specific trailer and vehicle at the time of the original order.
This means a second hand system will only transfer across if your trailer and vehicle require the exact same drawbar, the exact same vehicle carrier and the exact same wheel size options as the original owner.
The iSi lifetime warranty is held by the original purchaser and does not transfer with a private sale. Any new components you order from us are covered in your own name from the date of purchase.
If the system does not suit
It is usually one part, not the whole system
In most cases a second hand system that does not suit needs one component changed rather than replacing. A different drawbar mount, a different vehicle mount kit, or a set of cradle reducers will be the missing piece to the puzzle. That is a far smaller outlay than a complete system, and our sales team can quote the individual parts.
If you would rather not wait, you can configure a complete system to your own application now. Every new system is manufactured to suit your exact drawbar, tow bar and wheel size, and is covered by our lifetime warranty in your name.
Compatibility assessment request
We are happy to work out whether the system you have purchased suits your application. That assessment is done manually by our sales team against your photographs, so we need complete information before we can give you an answer.
What you need to have ready
- Clear photographs of your trailer drawbar, taken from the side and from above, showing the jockey wheel, gas bottles, stone guard and any toolbox.
- Clear photographs of the rear of your vehicle, including the tow bar and tow ball.
- Clear photographs of every used component you have purchased, laid out so each part is visible.
- The make, model and year of both the trailer and the vehicle.
- The wheelbase and tyre width of your largest bike.
Response time and scope
Assessments are handled in the order received and take 3 to 5 business days. They are queued behind original purchaser orders and exchanges. Incomplete submissions cannot be assessed and will not be actioned.
An assessment tells you whether the configuration suits your trailer and vehicle. It is based on the photographs you supply and does not certify the structural condition, safe working order or remaining service life of used components. We recommend you have any used system inspected before you load bikes onto it.
