Four Points. Zero Movement.
The iSi Wheel Support Cradle is the reason you'll never strap a bike onto an iSi carrier. Four mandrel-bent contact points lock each wheel in position through the tyre tread, preventing roll, bounce and lateral movement even over the roughest corrugated roads. Every cradle offers independent horizontal and vertical adjustment, giving you complete control over bike spacing and clearance.
The Quad Contact Wheel Cradle System
Each cradle uses four mandrel-bent contact points that grip the tyre tread from four directions. The wheel is locked in position mechanically, with no reliance on straps, bungees, or tie-downs that degrade over time.
Locked Through The Tread
The four contact points grip the tyre at its tread, not the rim. This creates a firm, stable hold that prevents the wheel from rolling forward, backward or sideways. The mandrel-bent hoops distribute contact force evenly, so there's no pinch point that could damage the tyre over long trips.
- Four contact points per wheel for zero movement
- Mandrel-bent for even force distribution
- No straps, bungees, clamps or tie-downs required
Offset, Centre, Or Anywhere In Between
Each cradle slides along an offset sleeve on the main beam, giving you complete horizontal positioning freedom. You can offset bikes to one side, centre them precisely, or stagger them to eliminate handlebar clashes. This covers wheelbases up to 1,600mm and keeps the load as slim and centred as possible for stable highway and off-road dynamics.
- Full horizontal range: offset, centred, or staggered
- Accommodates wheelbases up to 1,600mm
- Keeps load centred for stable travel dynamics
Type A vs Type B
Your iSi carrier uses either Type A or Type B wheel cradles depending on the main beam configuration. To replace a pair of cradles, select a pair of the same Type. This allows for further adjustment to the adjacent cradle.
Type A
The standard cradle orientation. Check your existing cradle or original order documentation to confirm which type you have.
Type B
The mirrored cradle orientation. Used in combination with Type A on some configurations for optimal clearance between adjacent bikes.
Wheel Cradle Key Features
Every adjustment you need, with none of the accessories you don't.
Vertical Adjustment
Each cradle has a high and low setting. Swap the vertical position to move a handlebar up and over, or just below, an adjacent saddle. Eliminates clearance clashes between bikes.
Mixed Bike Sizes
Road bikes, mountain bikes, e-bikes, fat bikes. The adjustable positioning handles mixed sizes on the same carrier without compromise.
Australian Steel
Manufactured in Melbourne from Australian steels. Mandrel-bent for precise geometry and powder coated for long-term corrosion resistance.
