Snowy River SRC-Twenty

The Snowy River SRC-Twenty is a capable off-road caravan, and this build shows how a high-capacity four-bike carrier can be added to its drawbar without giving up strength, stability or long-term durability. The configuration is engineered to carry the whole family’s bikes with confidence.

For this configuration we installed a four-bike rack to the Snowy River SRC-Twenty using a 100% bolt-on mounting system. To achieve the correct positioning and load distribution, the original jockey wheel was relocated and replaced with a bolt-on jockey wheel, which let the mounting system sit in the optimal spot on the drawbar, all without drilling or welding to the chassis.

The rack is designed to spread the load evenly across the chassis, reducing stress on individual mounting points and removing pressure hot spots for a stronger, more stable platform. With the bikes held low and close to the chassis, towing stability improves and movement during travel is kept to a minimum.

Even with four bikes aboard, the installation stays practical and well integrated with the caravan. The key components remain accessible and the layout supports easy everyday touring. The platform carries up to four bikes at 32kg per bike, tied to the drawbar through an adjustable H-Mount and a StrongArm support post for a rock-solid base.

The finished result is a precise, durable Snowy River SRC-Twenty four-bike rack, a strong, balanced and reliable way to transport four bikes across both sealed roads and off-road terrain.
