Keeping the load low improves stability and reduces movement during travel, while the positioning maintains maximum trailer articulation through tight turns, steep driveways and uneven off road terrain.

Keeping the weight close to the drawbar helps maintain a low tow ball weight delta and good towing balance, roughly 70% to the tow ball and 30% to the axle, while preserving full use of the front storage area.
