Cub C16

This Cub C16 bike rack is a clean, purpose built two bike installation: an Extreme Duty Two Bicycle Carrier on a bolt on H-Mount drawbar mount, paired with a StrongArm Support Post for maximum rigidity on Ray’s Cub C16 hybrid.

A compact hybrid like the C16 makes every millimetre of drawbar space count, so the carrier is positioned to keep the jockey wheel fully functional and the gas bottles accessible, with safe clearance through articulation and tight turns. No unnecessary modifications were needed, just a properly engineered mount that integrates with the existing drawbar structure. Load distribution was worked out to keep ball weight within acceptable limits while keeping access easy at camp.

The result is a solid, stable platform for two bikes across sealed and unsealed roads, configured specifically to the C16’s chassis geometry rather than forced on with a one size fits all bracket. Ray’s verdict after fitting it: very happy with the construction and build quality. Each bike rides in its own wheel support cradles, held by a frame support cradle, at up to 32kg, rated to 64kg total.
