Land Rover Discovery 4

This Land Rover Discovery 4 bike rack carries four bikes on an Extreme Duty 4x4x4 off road carrier, manufactured by iSi and mounted through a tow bar mount system. Everything bolts on: the Discovery keeps its factory bodywork, wiring and sensors exactly as Land Rover delivered them.

Off road spec matters on a vehicle that actually leaves the bitumen. The carrier is rated for corrugations and rough station tracks, with all four cradles held low over the tow bar where the extra mass barely changes how the Discovery drives. The tailgate still opens with the rack installed because the carrier pivots up, four bikes and all, and the whole assembly lifts off when the hitch goes back to towing duty. Capacity and fit

The Four Bike Rack Assembly, and takes up to 84kg across four cradles, each rated at 32kg with room for 1600mm wheelbases and tyres to 5.1 inches. Four adult mountain bikes travel without touching each other or the car.
