Mercedes GLA 250

This Mercedes GLA 250 bike rack pairs a compact European crossover with an Extreme Duty 4x4x2 compact beam carrier, manufactured by iSi in Victoria and shipped to its owner in the USA. Two bikes, one tow bar mount system, and a car that stays exactly as Mercedes intended it.

The compact beam is the right match for the GLA’s shorter rear overhang, holding both cradles snug behind the hatch with the weight low over the tow bar. The carrier pivots up with the bikes loaded so the tailgate can still rise, and the entire assembly lifts off the mount between rides, leaving nothing but a low profile receiver behind the car. Capacity and fit

Each cradle handles up to 32kg, a 1600mm wheelbase and tyres to 5.1 inches, which is more capacity than a GLA will ever ask of it. The Two Bike Rack Assembly, easy for one person to manage in a garage.
