Majestic Caravan

This Majestic Caravan bike rack is a great example of how a well planned mount maximises space, improves stability and keeps the drawbar fully usable. For Ken’s Majestic we installed a two bike carrier on a 100% bolt on mounting system, positioned neatly beneath the gas bottles to use otherwise wasted space while keeping the drawbar clean and functional.

The carrier keeps the bikes as low as possible and close to the chassis, which improves towing stability, reduces movement in travel and makes loading and unloading much easier, especially with heavier bikes. Mounting under the gas bottles also spreads the load more evenly across the chassis, reducing pressure on individual mounting points for a stronger, more balanced platform.

Every original drawbar feature stays accessible: jockey wheel, gas bottles and front storage all work as normal, with no loss of functionality and no modifications required. Ken’s feedback captured the community angle nicely, he was very happy with his, and even happier seeing so many others in the caravan park. Mounted on an H-Mount with a StrongArm Support Post, each bike rides in its own wheel support cradles, held by a frame support cradle, at up to 32kg, rated to 64kg total.

Every system is manufactured in Mitcham, Victoria, as they have been since 2007, from Australian mild steel and stainless steel, zinc primed and finished in textured Dulux powder coat, and covered by a lifetime warranty.
