Swag SCT16

This SWAG SCT16 bike rack carries four bikes on the camper trailer’s drawbar, using a bolt-on system manufactured by iSi. The configuration combines a Four Bike Rack Assembly with an H-Mount and a StrongArm Support Post, installed with no modification to the existing drawbar structure.

With four bikes on board, keeping the load low matters. The carrier positions the bikes close to the chassis, which keeps the centre of mass down and the towing behaviour steady across highway and off road conditions. The drawbar mounting shares the load between the tow ball and the axle at roughly 70% and 30%, and the carrier pivots upright with all four bikes still loaded, so overnight stops do not mean unloading the rack to reach the front of the camper.

Why this configuration

Placement was planned around the equipment already living on the drawbar. The jockey wheel, gas bottles and front storage areas all remain accessible with the system installed, so the camper keeps its full usability while carrying four bikes. The Four Bike Rack Assembly weighs 25.75kg and carries up to 84kg in total, with each bike cradle rated to 32kg.
