Crusader Eden

This Crusader Eden bike rack highlights how the right mounting solution delivers maximum strength and stability when carrying four bikes. For Jared’s Eden we installed a Four Bike Rack Assembly on our adjustable H-Mount, relocating the jockey wheel so the mount could sit in the optimal position on the drawbar for the rigidity a four bike load demands.

Spreading the load evenly across the chassis is what keeps a four bike setup composed. By reducing stress on individual mounting points and eliminating pressure hot spots, the system stays far more stable over long distances and rough terrain. Positioning the carrier close to the van improves towing balance, splitting the load roughly 70% to the tow ball and 30% to the axle, and keeps movement to a minimum on the road.

Despite carrying four bikes, the installation keeps a clean, practical layout with a 100% bolt on design that integrates seamlessly with the caravan. Jared’s verdict: he finally found a rack that can do it all. Each bike rides in its own frame held cradle at up to 32kg, rated to 84kg total.

Every system is manufactured in Mitcham, Victoria, as they have been since 2007, from Australian mild steel and stainless steel, zinc primed and finished in textured Dulux powder coat, and covered by a lifetime warranty.
