Lexus GX470

This Lexus GX470 bike rack lives in Denver, Colorado, at the foot of some of the best riding in North America. It is an Extreme Duty 4x4x2 on a 400mm compact beam with a PBC-H pivot base, manufactured by iSi in Victoria and mounted through the Lexus’s receiver with nothing modified on the vehicle.

The GX470 sits tall, so the high pivot base sets the carrier at the right height behind the rear door. Both bikes ride in their own cradles, low and centred, and the carrier pivots up with the bikes still loaded so the rear door swings freely at the trailhead. Capacity and fit

Each cradle carries up to 32kg with room for a 1600mm wheelbase and tyres to 5.1 inches, more than enough for Colorado trail bikes. The Two Bike Rack Assembly, with a 64kg total capacity.
