This Toyota 4Runner 2 bike rack is an Extreme Duty Two Bicycle Carrier, manufactured in Melbourne and shipped to Colin in the United States for his fifth generation 4Runner. It went straight to work: two trail bikes, muddy tyres, and a first weekend that ended with a one line review, loved it.

Colin’s bikes are modern trail machines with plus size rubber, and they are exactly what the iSi cradle system is built for. Each bike sits in its own cradle held by the frame, so wide tyres, long droppers and full suspension change nothing about how the bikes carry. At 32kg per bike and 64kg total the rating has margin for the heaviest trail bikes, and the 400mm beam keeps the pair tucked close behind the tailgate.
