Holden Colorado

This Holden Colorado bike rack started life as an Extreme Duty 4x4x2 and grew with the family: a 4x4x4 expansion pack converted the two bike carrier into a four bike system without replacing anything already bolted to the ute. That modular growth path is one of the quiet advantages of the way iSi manufactures its carriers.

Mounted through a tow bar mount system, the expanded carrier holds all four cradles low behind the tray, where the weight rides over the tow bar rather than out past it. The carrier pivots up with the bikes loaded so the tailgate still drops, and the whole assembly lifts off when the Colorado needs its hitch for the trailer. Room to grow

The expansion pack is the answer to a common question from adventurers: what happens when two bikes becomes four? Rather than a new rack, the existing beam accepts the extra cradles, each rated to 32kg with room for 1600mm wheelbases and 5.1 inch tyres, up to 84kg across the system.
