Black Series

This Black Series bike rack carries four bikes on one of the toughest camper trailers on the market, using an Extreme Duty 4x4x4 extended beam carrier with a rail support mount, manufactured by iSi. A Black Series is designed for corrugated tracks and river crossings, and the carrier had to match that spec rather than water it down.

The extended beam holds the four cradles clear of the camper’s bodywork, while the rail support mount ties the carrier into the trailer’s rail structure for rigidity on rough ground. Mounting to the rails carries the bikes above the stone spray zone and keeps the drawbar completely free for the jockey wheel, gas and toolbox, and the carrier pivots with the bikes loaded for access when it is needed.

Capacity and fit

The Four Bike Rack Assembly, and carries up to 84kg, each of the four cradles rated to 32kg with room for a 1600mm wheelbase and tyres to 5.1 inches. Mountain bikes wearing serious rubber sit in the cradles as easily as commuters.

iSi has manufactured every one of these systems in Mitcham, Victoria since 2007 from Australian mild steel and stainless steel, zinc primed and finished in textured Dulux powder coat, with a lifetime warranty across the board.
