EzyTrail Ceduna

This EzyTrail Ceduna bike rack is an Extreme Duty Four Bike Rack Assembly on a bolt on H-Mount with a Support Post, installed in front of the toolbox on David’s Ceduna Mk3. It is the second EzyTrail we have configured for, and the Ceduna’s drawbar suited the in front of toolbox position cleanly.

An EzyTrail hybrid puts serious hardware on its drawbar, so the carrier mounts ahead of the toolbox where all the lids keep opening with four bikes loaded. The H-Mount bolts on without welding, the support post carries the bike load into the chassis, and the geometry keeps the weight split roughly 70% to the tow ball and 30% to the axle. The carrier pivots up with all four bikes loaded so the camper sets up at camp without unloading.

David’s feedback after living with it was simple: very happy. The 800mm beam Four Bike Carrier is rated to 84kg and holds each bike by the frame in its own cradle at up to 32kg, the whole family fleet secured for corrugated access tracks.

Every system is manufactured in Mitcham, Victoria, as they have been since 2007, from Australian mild steel and stainless steel, zinc primed and finished in textured Dulux powder coat, and covered by a lifetime warranty. The Ceduna joins its stablemate the Talawana in our caravan bike racks range, with tow vehicle systems in the pre-configured vehicle carriers.
