Toyota Hilux Bike Rack

This Hilux tow bar bike rack is an Extreme Duty Two Bicycle Carrier on a bolt on PBC-H vehicle mount system, installed by James to his Toyota Hilux. It is the simplest, most popular way to carry two bikes on Australia’s best selling ute: straight off the tow bar, no tub space sacrificed, no bikes lying on their sides in the tray.

The compact 400mm geometry keeps the bikes low and the weight balanced over the tow bar, so daily driving stays composed and the pair sits tight for tight car parks. The carrier pivots up with the bikes loaded so the tray and tailgate stay within reach, and each bike rides in its own wheel support cradles, held by a frame support cradle, at up to 32kg, on and off the bitumen. The Hilux is the vehicle we build for more than any other ute, so a standard fitment like James’s ships fast and bolts straight on. Add a caravan later and the same carrier moves to its drawbar with a different mount.

Every system is manufactured in Mitcham, Victoria, as they have been since 2007, from Australian mild steel and stainless steel, zinc primed and finished in textured Dulux powder coat, and covered by a lifetime warranty.
