Jeep Wrangler
Extreme Duty Two Bike Carrier with Four Bike Expansion Pack, Shared with a Patriot X1 Camper
The Solution
This Jeep Wrangler bike rack works two jobs: an Extreme Duty 4x4x2 carrier with a 4x4x4 expansion pack, manufactured by iSi and shared between the Wrangler and a Patriot X1 camper. Both wear a bolt-on tow bar mount, so the carrier moves to whichever is heading out.
The modular approach lets the system scale from two bikes to four as the trip demands. On the Wrangler the load rides low behind the spare, clear of the rear-mounted wheel, and the carrier pivots up with the bikes still loaded so the rear door swings open on the trail. On the Patriot X1 the same cradles carry the bikes across the rough stuff the camper was designed for.
Capacity and fit
Each cradle carries up to 32kg with room for wheelbases to 1600mm and tyres to 5.1 inches. Expanded, the system takes up to 84kg across four bikes; stripped back to two, it drops weight and length in one step.
iSi has manufactured all of these components in Mitcham, Victoria since 2007, from Australian mild steel and stainless steel, zinc primed with a textured Dulux powder coat finish, and every system carries a lifetime warranty. See the pre-configured vehicle carriers or ask the sales team to configure a modular system for your own vehicle and camper.
