Jayco Expanda

This Jayco Expanda 4 bike rack takes the compact route to family capacity: an Extreme Duty 4x4x4 compact carrier with a low profile pivot base, manufactured by iSi and shared between the Expanda and the Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Series that tows it.

Where the extended systems trade length for clearance, the compact four bike carrier keeps everything tight to the Expanda’s drawbar, and the low profile pivot base drops the whole assembly closer to the A-frame. The load still splits the drawbar way, roughly 70% to the tow ball and 30% through the axle, and the carrier pivots upright with all four bikes loaded so the van’s front storage stays reachable. Capacity and fit

All four cradles are rated to 32kg each, with room for wheelbases to 1600mm and tyres to 5.1 inches, and the Four Bike Rack Assembly carries up to 84kg in total. The rest of the range is covered on our LandCruiser bike racks page.
