The LandCruiser has unique characteristics: a split tailgate (upper glass and lower drop-down), often a fridge slide or drawer system, dual spare tyres on some models, and owners who actually take it to places that break other vehicles. The iSi rack accounts for all of it.
Split Tailgate Clearance
The LandCruiser's signature split tailgate needs a rack that clears both the upper glass and the lower drop-down section. iSi's low-profile pivot base is engineered to sit beneath the tailgate line, giving you full opening clearance when pivoted down.
Fridge Slide Compatible
Pull-out drawers and fridge slides need full clearance behind the vehicle. With the iSi rack pivoted down, your slide extends fully even with bikes on board. No compromise on camp kitchen access.
Touring Tough

Will this bike rack fit my Toyota LandCruiser?
Yes. iSi offers pre-configured LandCruiser bike racks for the 80 Series (1990-1997), 100 Series (1998-2007), 200 Series (2007-2021) and 300 Series (2021+). All pre-configured systems are engineered to suit standard stock rear tow bar sections with a 50x50mm receiver.

Can I access the rear of my LandCruiser with bikes loaded?
Yes. The PoziLock pivot mechanism allows the entire rack (with bikes on board) to pivot down for full clearance to your LandCruiser's split tailgate, fridge slide and drawer system. The low-profile pivot base is engineered to sit beneath the tailgate line. The pivot operation takes around 15 seconds.
Will it carry e-bikes on my LandCruiser?
Yes. The iSi LandCruiser bike rack handles bikes up to 32kg each, well above most e-bike weights. The wheel-by-wheel loading method means you never lift the full bike weight at any point. The 2-bike rack carries 64kg total, the 4-bike rack carries 84kg total.
Is the rack rated for off-road touring?
Yes. iSi racks are field-tested across the harshest Australian terrain including corrugated outback tracks, rock crawling, soft sand and water crossings. The 25 degree or 40 degree departure clearance angle protects bikes from below while keeping the tow bar protrusion as short as possible.
The shortest possible protrusion means you can reverse out of steep river crossings without the rack digging into the track. Steel plate construction handles drag-over rocks and gullies.
What's the difference between the 2-bike and 4-bike option?
The 2-bike rack uses a compact main beam optimised for two riders and a tighter rear profile. The 4-bike rack uses a longer beam with stadium-style staggered loading to carry four bikes in the most compact length possible.
Both share the same LandCruiser-matched pivot base, and you can purchase a Conversion Pack to switch between them later.
Can I swap the rack between my LandCruiser and my caravan?
Yes. Add the iSi Bolt-On Drawbar Mount System to your caravan or camper trailer drawbar, and the same carrier swaps between vehicle and trailer in under a minute, no tools required. Great for base-camping with the trailer and exploring with the LandCruiser.

The pre-configured systems on this page are engineered to suit stock rear tow bar sections with a standard 50x50mm receiver. If you have a Kaymar, ARB or custom rear bar, or if you're running accessories (spare wheel carriers, jerry can holders, etc.) off the back, our sales engineers can recommend the correct pivot base height and configuration for your specific arrangement.
How long does the rack take to install?
The pivot base bolts into your LandCruiser's tow bar receiver in about 5 minutes (one person, no special tools). The carrier itself drops onto the pivot base via tool-free pivot pins, taking another 30 seconds. Once installed, you can remove and store the carrier separately in 20 seconds.
