Landcruiser 300 Series
Four Bike Rack Assembly with Two Bike Conversion Pack and PBC-H Vehicle Mount System
The Solution
This Landcruiser 300 Series bike rack was installed in our Mitcham workshop when Stan dropped in with his brand new LC300. The configuration is the flexible one: an Extreme Duty Four Bike Rack Assembly on a PBC-H vehicle mount system, plus a two bicycle conversion pack that swaps the same system between four bike and two bike duty depending on who is coming along.
The conversion pack is the answer for households where the bike count changes by the weekend. Family trip, run the full 800mm four bike beam; two up, swap to the shorter configuration and keep the load compact. Either way each bike rides in its own wheel support cradles, held upright by a frame support cradle, at up to 32kg, with the four bike assembly rated to 84kg total, e-bikes welcome. We install the same carrier on other LandCruiser models, and the LandCruiser bike racks range has the details.
The 300 Series is the new king of Australian touring, and the install demonstrates the feature every owner asks about first: the carrier lowers with bikes loaded, giving full access to the rear doors and cargo area without unloading a single bike. Owners of other vehicles can start with the full tow bar bike rack range.
Every system is manufactured in Mitcham, Victoria, as they have been since 2007, from Australian mild steel and stainless steel, zinc primed and finished in textured Dulux powder coat, and covered by a lifetime warranty. The LC300 joins every generation of Land Cruiser in our pre-configured vehicle carriers, with towed configurations in the caravan bike racks range.
