MDC XT10E LP

This MDC XT10E LP bike rack highlights how a compact drawbar can still deliver a clean, practical and highly functional bike carrying solution. For Neil’s XT10E LP we installed a two bike carrier on a 100% bolt on mounting system, carefully configured around the limited space so everything fits neatly while keeping the camper fully usable.

The carrier keeps the bikes low and close to the chassis, which improves towing stability and reduces movement in travel, a secure platform across a wide range of conditions. Despite the shorter drawbar, the installation maintains full access to the front toolbox: tool free pivoting moves the rack aside whenever access is required, so the camper stays practical for everyday use. Keeping the load compact and well balanced maintains proper weight distribution, roughly 70% to the tow ball and 30% to the axle, so the system performs confidently on sealed roads and off road terrain. Neil found it so easy to install and a perfect fit for the MDC. Mounted on an H-Mount with a StrongArm Support Post, each bike rides in its own wheel support cradles, held by a frame support cradle, at up to 32kg, rated to 64kg total.

Every system is manufactured in Mitcham, Victoria, as they have been since 2007, from Australian mild steel and stainless steel, zinc primed and finished in textured Dulux powder coat, and covered by a lifetime warranty.
