Mitsubishi Pajero

This Mitsubishi Pajero bike rack is a two bike configuration manufactured by iSi, pairing an Extreme Duty Extended carrier at 600mm with a tow bar mount system. It was installed on an NS/NT Pajero, and the complete system bolts on without any modification to the vehicle.

Mounting through the tow bar keeps both bikes low and centred behind the Pajero, so the weight stays close to the chassis and the vehicle handles the way it should. When access to the back of the wagon is needed, the carrier pivots up with the bikes still loaded, and the same carrier can move between vehicles wherever a matching mount is installed. Why the extended carrier

The 600mm extended model adds standoff between the bikes and the rear of the vehicle, which suits wagons like the Pajero where the rear door and rear glass need room to clear. Each bike cradle is rated to 32kg and accepts a wheelbase up to 1600mm and tyres up to 5.1 inches wide, so everything from a commuter to a long travel mountain bike sits securely.
