Jayco Expanda

This Jayco Expanda cross mount bike rack shows the mount iSi developed for Jayco drawbars doing exactly what it was designed for. A J2 Cross Mount spans the Expanda Touring’s drawbar rails, a StrongArm Support Post steadies the assembly, and an Extreme Duty 4x4x4 carrier puts four bikes over the drawbar.

Jayco vans share a distinctive drawbar layout, and the Cross Mount bolts across it without welding or modification, positioning the carrier so the van’s boot lid and gas bottles stay usable. The load splits roughly 70% to the tow ball and 30% through the axle, and the carrier pivots upright with all four bikes loaded whenever the front of the van needs attention. Capacity and fit

The Four Bike Rack Assembly, and carries up to 84kg, with each cradle rated to 32kg and room for a 1600mm wheelbase and 5.1 inch tyres. The whole family’s bikes travel over the drawbar in their own cradles.
