Jayco Expanda

This Jayco Expanda bike carrier was the product of months of comparison shopping, and the verdict landed on an Extreme Duty 4x4x4 manufactured by iSi. It carries four bikes between an Expanda Outback and the Isuzu D-MAX that tows it, with a mount installed on each.

Research-driven buyers tend to end up here for the same reasons: individual wheel cradles instead of frame contact, a drawbar position that splits the load roughly 70% to the tow ball and 30% through the axle, and a carrier that pivots upright with all four bikes still loaded.
