TVan MK4

This TVan 2 bike rack is the ideal capacity configuration to appear on a Track Trailer drawbar among iSi’s adventurers: an Extreme Duty 4x4x2 carrier, manufactured by iSi, shared between a TVan MK4 and the Land Cruiser 200 that tows it via a custom drawbar mount – made locally by Tom.

The TVan’s drawbar geometry carries the two bike load well, roughly 70% through the tow ball and 30% through the axle, and the owner notes the MK5 shares the same drawbar arrangement, so the configuration transfers straight across the two generations. The carrier pivots upright with both bikes loaded for overnight stops, and lifts across to the Cruiser’s tow bar mount when the camper stays behind. Capacity and fit

The Two Bike Rack Assembly, and carries up to 64kg across four cradles, each rated to 32kg with room for 1600mm wheelbases and 5.1 inch tyres. Four adult mountain bikes ride in their own cradles, clear of the canvas and each other.
