Jayco Expanda

This Jayco Expanda bike rack pulls double duty as a Land Cruiser 200 bike rack, with the Extreme Duty 4x4x4 on a 700mm beam moving between the van’s Expanda drawbar mount and a matching mount on the Cruiser. One carrier, manufactured by iSi, covering both halves of the touring rig’s life.

On the van, the Expanda-specific drawbar mount positions the four cradles clear of the front boot and gas bottles, with the load split roughly 70% to the tow ball and 30% through the axle. The carrier pivots upright with all four bikes loaded, and the swap to the Land Cruiser takes only minutes when the bikes need to travel without the van. Capacity and fit
