Jayco Lark
Four Bike Rack Assembly, H-Mount and Support Post on a Short Drawbar
The Solution
This Jayco Lark bike rack shows how a compact drawbar can still support a high capacity solution without compromising usability. Fitted at Jayco Bayswater on a Lark Bushpack, it is a Four Bike Rack Assembly on a 100% bolt on mounting system, carefully planned to achieve a clean, effective fit despite the short drawbar, with no need to relocate any existing components.
The carrier is positioned to make the most of the available space while keeping the load stable and close to the chassis, which maintains good towing balance and keeps the bikes secure across a range of conditions, roughly 70% to the tow ball and 30% to the axle. Full pivoting capability lets the rack move easily when access to the front of the camper is required, keeping the configuration practical for everyday use while still carrying four bikes. Owners of other models can compare configurations across our Jayco bike racks range.
The result is a neat, durable installation that proves a well engineered solution delivers strength, functionality and convenience even on a short drawbar. Mounted on an H-Mount with a StrongArm Support Post, each bike rides in its own wheel support cradles, held by a frame support cradle, at up to 32kg, rated to 84kg total.
Every system is manufactured in Mitcham, Victoria, as they have been since 2007, from Australian mild steel and stainless steel, zinc primed and finished in textured Dulux powder coat, and covered by a lifetime warranty.
